Gift of Books by ICCR and Indian Embassy to HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management
A big thank you to Prof. Sushil Khanna, Ph.D., Holder of the ICCR Chair of Corporate Responsibility and Governance at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, and the Indian Embassy for the gift of 100 books on business and innovation in India.
The Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) is tasked with the responsibility of promoting a holistic understanding of modern India with an ancient civilisation. As India emerges as the fastest growing economy in the world, there is an urgent need to understand India in all its facets among foreign scholars, businessmen and institutions. Towards this aim of promoting a better understanding of modern India, ICCR sponsors scholars who will teach and research on modern India. It also occasionally gifts books that can be used by students and scholars interested in India.
Says Prof. Khanna, „HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is one of the few schools in Europe to receive such a gift of books for its library. We hope this gift will foster greater interest in India in the academic community at HHL, in particular, and in Leipzig in general.
